this years trade deadline seems to have a reunion theme to it.

I would be thrilled to have Letestu back , maybe signed at a reasonable price for next year and could mentor some young guys.

Brass, nah I don't see how he's a better option then Dubois or Wennberg

Nash, I have nothing to say he wants to win he can go somewhere else....

Do they still have that Mongolian BBQ place down by the Columbus stadium?

Nope . . . nada . . . no way . . . no how. I'm not age discriminating, but - Nash - 33 yr old; Letestu - 33 yr old; Brassard - 30 yr old. The skills aren't what they were a few years ago. Plus Ottawa is crazy what they're asking for Brassard.
Don't want any of those guys. They wouldn't help us now, or in the future. I don't see where we're much better with them than without them.

We are not at the point where we need a player to fill a "niche", and complete the puzzle. We need someone who can come in and move the needle.

I have nothing against any of them, as they were good players, and good people with the CBJ. But I'd rather go with what we have, and probably miss the playoffs, than give up something for rental guys (xcpt Brassard with another year @ $5mm), and most likely still miss the playoffs.

I'm thinking that Jarmo will swing abig deal this summer, and he will need assets to do it.
